This data contains leaf area index calculated from Digital Cover Photography images taken at four 1-ha plots within the Great Western Woodlands site between 2013 - 2015

Purpose
Leaf area index is the preferred measure of cover for vegetation and is a key variable used in total biomass estimation and in carbon cycling prediction models. 
Lineage
Digital cover photography Images were taken at 4 1-ha plots in the Great Western Woodlands site between 2013 - 2015.
