Lineage
The collection of physico-chemical characteristics of soil from the Samford Peri-Urban site was conducted 2013. Soil samples from taken from 5 soil horizons, with soil type, horizon and horizon boundaries classified using the Australian Soil and Land Survey Field Handbook. Chemical physical analysis of soil samples was performed in a soil laboratory.

The Samford Peri-Urban site is located 20 km north-west of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The vegetation within the site is classified as open Eucalypt and notophyll vine forest.
