This data contains leaf area index calculated from Digital Cover Photography images taken at the core 1-ha plot within the Tumbarumba Wet Eucalypt site in 2014.

Purpose
Leaf area index is the preferred measure of cover for vegetation and is a key variable used in total biomass estimation and in carbon cycling prediction models. 
Lineage
Digital cover photography images were taken at the core 1-ha plot in the Tumbarumba Wet Eucalypt site in 2014.
